Why this exists
Most explainers about AI agents are written for engineers, executives, or venture capitalists. We're building the one that's written for the person who just wants to know if they should try one — and, if so, which. No jargon, no hype, no lectures.
Who we are
We're an independent, reader-supported site. We are not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Perplexity, Manus, or any other AI company. Nobody pays us to say nice things.

This helps us keep the site free and honest. It never changes our recommendations: we only suggest a tool if we'd genuinely suggest it to a friend.
Our promise
